Manufactured in a high grade 12mm plywood with redwood timber fronts, galvanised metal floor grills and 6mm ply cleaning tray. The fronts have a plywood sliding door but can be made with all dowels if preferred as shown in the photo.
The fronts are housed in a blocking system and are lifted manually from the front to the second block 6" further back into the nest box for the widowhood system. This will allow the cock bird to perch in front of its mate without entering the nest box. The fronts can also be stowed parallel with the roof of the nest box to allow the birds free access to the nest box. 6mm plywood cleaning trays are also provided.
