Alex Wight, owner of RV Woodcraft is ex-army of 10 years, serving in the Royal Corps of Transport, which became the Royal Logistic Corps.
After leaving the army and taking various jobs, that he never settled into, Alex always had a dream of doing his own thing.
Following his passion, Alex started his own business, the “Craftyfifer” doing basic woodcrafts, which became very popular very quickly.
When an existing company came up for sale, Alex jumped at the opportunity.
After acquiring the business we relocated the business from Dover, to our current address in Fife Scotland.
Over a period of 5 years, RV Woodcraft is regularly sending our much sought after products, throughout the world.
With a staff of only 3, we pride ourselves as being the only recognised business in the UK to handcraft all our products, and not buying them in to sell on.
We have overhauled RV Woodcraft in many ways and continue to produce upgraded, and new products based on the demand.
As well as the staff, we have a silent partner, in the way of my CNC routing machine (maybe not that silent!). This machine produces high-end products and components, to keep us out in front of our competition.
We are continuously looking to produce more products so that our many customers new and old are able to get exactly what they are looking for.
There are no limits to what we want to achieve and will keep on striving to be the best in everything that we do.
